Front panel key ABS/INC. Measure or position your system in
absolute mode, switch to incremental mode for relative measurements, and
return to the absolute mode with no loss of measurement or accuracy. |
 |
Front panel key MON. This key is used to monitor
the currently displayed position for change. If the measuring
system moves outside a user-defined tolerance, the display will
flash all digits and trip a output signal. |
 |
Front panel key HOLD. This key freezes the
current reading. |
 |
Front panel key SEND. Pressing this key
will transmit the current reading via the
SPC output. |
 |
Front panel key F1. This key can be
programmed to offset the currently displayed reading. Up
to four different offsets can be used. |
 |
Front panel key F2. Pressing this
key will transmit a delete command to cancel the previous
SPC transmission. |
 |
SPC (position) data may be sent using the 10-pin plug on the
display's side. Data transmission can be initiated by pressing the
SEND key, or by requesting the SPC data from an external device.
Also used for connecting any of our
interface products. |

Supplied with two AA alkaline batteries. With
regular use, these batteries will last 8-12 months. A low battery indicator appears when
battery replacement is needed. The connectors are also
included for powering the readout with 24VDC.*
*A jumper position on the circuit board must be changed for
proper operation. |
 |
Non-linear error correction. After
installation, the unit may be calibrated in-place using high
quality gaging bars. Up to 32 equally spaced correction points
can be saved into memory. This yields a VERY high accuracy at a
cost much lower than other systems. |
