The ProScale Model 580 uses
Incremental
inductive measurement technology.
It is a general purpose measuring device with an integrated linear
friction bearing system. The Model 580 uses a custom extrusion design
incorporating a dual rail with four friction bearings. A sliding
carriage assembly captures the Encoder and moves along the scale on four
friction bearings minimizing pitch & yaw of the encoder for the utmost
in accuracy and repeatability.
The Model 580 was designed as a stand alone measuring system or to be
the foundation of systems designed by end users for their particular
measurement applications.
Features:
The
carriage/encoder can be moved up to 60 inches per second. The Model
580 supports multiple carriage assemblies/ Encoders and Readouts operating simultaneously on the same Scale. -
Model 580 systems can
be ordered with a special General Purpose Digital Readout
incorporating both non-linear scaling and temperature compensation

This carriage has
several holes predrilled for mounting the Digital Readout,
a wireless data transmitter, a handle or other user features as
required for the user's application.
One year warranty for defects in workmanship.
