For applications that require measurement accuracy better than our standard ProTable can offer (+/- 0.010 inches max. error), we offer our Enhanced Accuracy Option.   This option utilizes custom software in our digital display to correct for system accuracy errors along the length of ProTable.  A backfence, or V-Blocks, are included with the enhanced accuracy option.

With Enhanced Accuracy, the maximum error of the measuring system* is decreased to +/- 0.003 inches.  This feature is currently available for ProTables up to 144" measuring range.

All ProTables are supplied with a calibration chart that compares its measurements to AB grade NIST traceable gage bars. The testing date, operator, and temperature are also recorded on the chart.  For ProTables built with the Enhanced Accuracy Option, values with and without the Enhanced Accuracy option enabled are recorded.  Click image for more details.

*Note that the error indicated is NOT for the linear encoder, but for the assembled, complete measuring system.  All factors, such as encoder error, straightness, twist, bends, Abbé errors, cosine errors, flatness errors, etc. are taken into consideration and compensated for with this option.
