Discontinued Part

Effective May 15, 2010:
GagewaySM RS232 adapter (part # 905-1600-001 ) used to convert the ProScale Readout SPC data output to RS232 - will no longer available.
GagewaySM USB adapters have far outpaced the demand for the RS232 version and will continue to be offered.

Readout Firmware Update

This Product Bulletin applies to part number 700-1600-236, General Purpose Digital Readout - all firmware versions beginning with 3.xxxx 

 A small number of ProTable users have experienced loss of programming parameter data when using a General Purpose Readout with non-linear compensation enabled. 
This phenomenon has been linked to corrupted memory caused when the battery voltage is borderline/too low for reliable programming but still sufficient for normal readout operations.
A new firmware version- 3.0A is now available to correct this bug.
A new error message has also been added:
P FAIL: When the readout displays this message it means the battery voltage has dropped to a level where reliable programming is not possible.
Installing two new AA Alkaline or AA 1.5v Lithium batteries will clear this message and allow normal operation and programming.

Obsolete Parts

Effective Oct. 1, 2009 no new orders for Capacitive Incremental Encoders will be accepted.
All warranties for products using these parts will be honored for the remainder of the warranty.

DigiStop
DigiScale
