Accurate Technology Updates Its Most Popular Digital Readout

Asheville, NC — Accurate Technology has introduced an updated Digital Readout for it’s ProScale line of linear measuring systems.

The updated DRO is packaged in the same familiar ProScale display and is a direct replacement for all current and past ProScale digital displays used with ProScale Models 100, 200, 150 and 250 measurement systems.

The updated Digital Readout combines all the features previously found in earlier ProScale displays and adds several new user-programmable features.

User programmable settings now include:

• Encoder Direction Control
• Enable/Disable Long Absolute Scale Readings
• Enable/Disable High Speed Readhead Control
• Enable/Disable User Calibration
• Increase/Decrease Display Resolution
• View Metric units in mm or cm
• Enable/Disable Fractional readout or decimal inch readout modes
• Scaling Factor (linear mulitplier)
• Automatic Power Off Timer
• Enable/Disable Auxiliary keypad
• Enable/Disable Offset Additions (used with multi-station or multi-position applications)
• Programmable Output Signal
• Programmable Upper/Lower Limits Controls
• Programmable Drift Tolerance
• Automatic Monitor Mode Timer (on and off)
• Backlight timer control

Users now have the ability to check the battery voltage using the display's keypad.  Additionally, units can now be reset to factory settings using a combination of key presses.

The updated display will be available in three models: Basic, Full Function, Full Function+24V.

• The Basic model does not include the auxiliary keypad, and is powered using AA batteries only.
• The Full Function model includes the auxiliary keypad, and is powered using AA batteries only.
• The Full Function+24V model includes the auxiliary keypad, can be powered using batteries or 24VDC power sources, and includes a user configured LCD backlight.

To accommodate special or unusual end user or OEM applications, select front panel function keys can be custom programmed.

The new Digital Display is currently shipping on all ProScale systems.
