PARTS:  Incremental Scales & Encoders

Most of the Readouts for ProScale systems are interchangeable and backward compatible. However, it is VERY IMPORTANT that the ENCODER and SCALE use the same measurement technology.

SCALE & ENCODER TECHNOLOGY MUST MATCH FOR A PROSCALE SYSTEM TO OPERATE CORRECTLY!

ProScale systems using Capacitive Incremental measurement technology were in production from 1989 to 2006.
 
THESE SYSTEMS ARE NOW OBSOLETE AND PARTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Incremental Scales:
Incremental Scales came two Models: Model 100 & Model 200.
They were also used for many other ProScale and DigiScale products over the years.

Model 100     0.75" wide x 0.25" high

Model 200       2.02" wide x 0.75" high

Incremental Encoders:
Most Incremental Encoders came supplied with a FLAT GRAY CABLE (top photo)
Some Incremental Encoders came with a sticker and/or BLACK cable (bottom photo)
